Chod Sound Healing Saturday 1.30pm
Khandro Thrinlay Chodon presents a sound healing meditation experience that is based on an ancient practice called Chod that belongs to the Vajrayana Buddhist tradition. It blends ritual music, chanting, and drumming. Chod is one of the most advanced meditation practices and it “cuts through” obstacles, negativity, and self-delusion bringing healing to both the deepest layers of our patterning and disturbed environmental energies.
Sound healing has been used by Vajrayana Buddhist meditation masters for centuries. It is now well known that sounds can send healing vibrations to all of our cells, tissues, muscles, and organs. Nowadays chanting, sound and vocal resonance have been discovered by scientists to contain amazing healing qualities and more and more people are exploring its deep dimensions for healing.
Participants simply relax and allow the sounds and energetic vibrations of this profound practice to cleanse and heal. All welcome. Bring a blanket and pillow for lying or sitting as makes you comfortable.
